Today is free to relax and explore the “City of Sails” with its beautiful harbour and cosmopolitan atmosphere

Rotorua: 2 nights
View stunning panoramic views of New Zealand’s largest city from the top of an extinct volcano, travel through lush farmland before heading south to the Waitomo glow worm caves.

Wellington: 1 night
This afternoon cruise across the Cook strait to the South Island, renowned as one of the most picturesque crossings in the world.

Blenheim: 1 night
Today travel through the wine region of Marlborough and arrive in the seaside settlement of Kaikoura, an area offering whale and dolphin watching.

Christchurch: 1 night

Franz Josef: 1 night
This morning board the award winning TranzAlpine train. Travel through spectacular gorges, river valleys and across the country’s greatest mountain range ‘The Southern Alps’.

Queenstown: 2 nights
Follow the shores of Lake Wanaka to the action packed alpine resort of Queenstown. This evening choose to cruise to Walter Peak or ride the gondola to the Skyline Restaurant, offering outstanding views of the surrounding mountains.

Te Anau : 1 night

Dunedin: 1 night
Travel across the South Island to Dunedin. This bustling city of Scottish heritage is known as the “Edinburgh of the South”.

Mackenzie Country: 1 night
Journey north to Moeraki Beach and the historic town of Oamaru before travelling inland to the heart of Mackenzie Country past lakes surrounded by majestic mountain scenery

Christchurch: 2 nights
